As I begin this blog let me first tell you that I was born, and lived all my life in Pennsylvania. A beautiful state, experiencing all 4 seasons. With those wonderous seasons came 4 months of cold, freezing rain, slush and SNOW. Now that snow was beautiful- on Christmas Day. After months it got to be TOO much for me! In 40 years
I had plenty of time to bask in it's wonder. Most of my family, including my children, still calls beautiful PA their home- more power to them. I on the other hand, made a very concious choice to head for the SUN! My dearest soul-mate and husband was in no way reluctant to bite on this notion. This all said, we took out the map, and made a "wish list" for picking out the right spot for us. That helped us narrow it down and we landed here in TEXAS!
To go back for one more minute, our decision came as we saw our youngest off to college. The idea of an empty house was the prime opportunity to mix it all up and make a BIG life change. I should say too that we call it an ADVENTURE!
